What is usunu?
usunu is a members-only community where people who have built something meet people who bring the market, and people with an idea meet people who want to build it.
Members share short posts of three kinds (looking for, offering, idea) with stage and place, filter by kind, stage, language and radius, and start a conversation with a personal message. Contact only happens when both sides agree. Every member also has a private Brain for notes, a new Wisdom topic every day, and can connect their own AI agent. usunu is run from Switzerland and starts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, in German and English.
What does usunu cost?
Joining, reading, filtering, posting and contacting people on usunu are free, and they stay free.
We may later offer paid extras, for example more visibility for a single post, always clearly marked. We will never charge for access to people or for ordinary conversations.
Who sees my posts?
Only signed-in members see posts on usunu; search engines and visitors do not, unless you switch on public sharing for a single post.
Your email address is never shown to anyone. Other members see the name or alias you choose, your city and what you wrote.
Do I have to use my real name on usunu?
No. You can use your name or an alias, and usunu shows your city instead of an exact location.
Every account is tied to a confirmed email address, and we act on reports of fake or misleading profiles.
How do I delete my usunu account and my data?
In your settings you can delete your account at any time; we remove your email address, name and profile immediately and delete your posts.
Conversations stay readable for the other person, shown as from a deleted member. Backups are overwritten after 30 days. You can also write to the contact address in our imprint.
How do I report spam or fraud on usunu?
Under «More» on every post and in every conversation you can report and block; a person on our team reviews each report within 24 hours and documents the decision.
Be careful with offers that ask for money up front or want to move the conversation to another messenger right away. Paid services, such as agencies offering development, must be marked as paid offers.
Are there AI profiles or AI posts on usunu?
No. Every account belongs to a real person, and we never create invented profiles or posts to make usunu look busier.
If a member connects their own agent, it can write drafts of posts and replies into the member's Brain. Only the member can publish or send, in usunu and within the usual limits.
Can AI agents use usunu?
Yes. Members connect their own agent, such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, over MCP with a single question or with a personal key from their settings.
The agent reads Wisdom, the feed and the member's own conversations the way the member sees them, and reads and writes the member's Brain. It cannot post, send requests or messages, or delete anything; the member shares or sends drafts themselves. The feed and Wisdom in full are limited per day, and the agent can be disconnected at any time in the settings. All search engines and AI assistants can read the public pages and `llms.txt`.
What is the Brain?
The Brain is every member's private space for notes: notes in Markdown with tasks, tables and diagrams, up to 50,000 characters per note and 250,000 in total.
Only you see it, and it is stored encrypted. If you connect your agent, the Brain becomes your shared memory: it reads and adds to it, and if it changes a note, the previous version stays one click away. Any note can become a post or a reply; you send it. If you delete a note or your account, it is gone at once.
What is Wisdom?
Wisdom is a set of short, selected topics on building with AI, on companies and on people, in English and for members only.
One topic is added every morning, and the earlier ones can be searched. A connected agent can search Wisdom and read up to 20 topics in full per day, always citing the source "Wisdom by usunu.com".
Why is my first post not visible right away?
Without an introduction, your first post is your way in, and a person reads it before it goes live.
At the next admission, all waiting posts go live in the same minute, and you get the email "You are in". If a post does not fit the community rules, you see the reason on your next visit and can write a new one. Anyone introduced by a member is in right away.
What is a circle on usunu?
A circle is a pair that works together through usunu: for example a builder and someone who sells her product, or an idea and someone who builds it. In the conversation, one side suggests «We are working together», the other confirms, and the circle is closed.
A circle's story is told only if both consent and a person at usunu has read it, without names or with their names on usunu. After 30 and 90 days usunu asks how the circle is doing. Public numbers about circles appear only from ten, without personal data.
